Guidelines

In order to provide the best experience for our users, there are certain standards that we maintain with our listings.

• The site title must be the name of the website
  It is not for describing your site or using keywords about its content.
• The description must accurately match the site content.
  We reserve the right to change this to more accurately match the site.
• Do not submit websites "under construction".
  Wait until the website is complete before submitting it. Websites that are incomplete, contain "under construction" notices or contain broken graphics or links will not be considered.
• Do not submit subdomains.
  If the site has an "http://www.example.com/", do not submit "http://subdomain.example.com/", as we will either change it or delete it.
• With the exception of freesite servers (Geocities, Angelfire, Tripod, etc.), we will only accept one site per root URL.
  If "http://www.example.com/content/" is listed, we will not add "http://www.example.com/morecontent/".

We WILL NOT list:

• Sites that are IP addresses.
  If you are serious about running a web site, get a domain name.
• Sites with auto redirects, Meta refreshes, etc.
• Sites with excessive ad banners, pop-up windows, etc.
• Sites that are just a list of affiliate links or have no real content of their own.
  This includes "RSS Feed", "Sponsor Data Feed" and "Made for Adsense" websites
• Mirror sites
  Webites that contain near-identical content (more than 75% duplicated content), but different URLs, are 'mirror sites'.
• Sites that contain, link to, or insinuate content unsuitable for family viewing.
  Please go to our Adult Directory if your site contains this content.
• Sites that display, link to, or insinuate illegal content (including uncredited copyrighted material).**

All submissions are reviewed by hand. Please keep the following in mind.

• Choose the category which best suits the website's theme.
  If the site sells something, then it should probably be in the 'Shopping' category. Websites submitted to completely wrong categories (i.e. a site about 'cats and dogs' submitted to a 'Travel' category) will be deleted.
• Do not repeat the title of the website in the description.
• Write in complete sentences and/or descriptive phrases using proper grammar, punctuation and correct spelling.
  If any website appears to have been submitted "in a hurry", we will not review it, it will be deleted!!
• Do not Capitalize The First Letter Of Every Word, DO NOT USE ALL CAPS, and avoid excessive punctuation!!!
  We will not edit the listing, it will be deleted!!!
• Do not use 'Sales Talk' in the description.
  Tell our users what your site is about and save the selling for when they get there.
• You must enter a valid email address for us to complete the approval process.
  This is simply to inform you if/when the site is listed at OAST. Your privacy will be respected. Click here to read our privacy policy.
• If it appears you have submitted a site without taking note of these guidelines, we will not review the site, we will simply delete it and move on to the next.
